Joel Malka is a LA-based Swedish artist, songwriter, & producer making a name for himself with gripping, intimate lyrics while writing and producing across genres, specializing in alt-leaning pop and R&B. Joel has had releases with artists like Fousheé, BIA (ft. A$AP Ferg & Denzel Curry), Claudia Valentina, Masego, Social House, Tayla Parx, and scored Teyana Taylor’s short film A Rose From Harlem for her Nike/Jordan 1 collaboration. Joel also co-wrote and produced the title track on fromis_9's Supersonic, which hit No. 1 in South Korea and was named one of Billboard's Top 10 K-Pop songs of 2024. 

Joel executive produced Claudia Valentina’s latest EP WHAT CAN I TELL YOU, co-writing and producing across the entirety of the record. He also co-wrote and produced across Amma's debut album Middle Child, contributing to “Blame Game,” “Again,” and “What A Let Down,” as well as engineering “Talking to Jesus.”

Recent collaborations include MNEK, Ne-Yo, AJ Tracey, JID, Lay Bankz, Tay Keith, Ben Billions, Tommy Brown, Amma, Cailin Russo, ilham, Kiana Ledé, Donna Missal, Fridayy, Fallen, and more.As an artist, Joel released his debut album Tomorrow Forever to strong reviews, leading to performances at major festivals like Way Out West and Stockholm Soul.
